Shipping Cost Estimator

There is no minimum order size, but all orders, not matter how small, are subject to minimum S&H charge.

We normally ship by priority mail. 

Priority mail service is about equivalent to UPS blue label or orange label, with 2-3 day delivery at a much lower cost.  UPS surcharges have increased dramatically in the last several years, and it is no longer the method of choice except for very expensive packages.   (Note that UPS packages normally will be delayed one day because we have to schedule a pickup.)

Following are estimates for continental U.S. as a guide.

Priority mail:

To estimate shipping cost, use postal chart plus $2.00 handling charge.

Small parts:

Padded bag by 1st class mail (crystal, eprom, small parts, if space and value allow) $5.00

Express Mail:

Express mail to any zone in continental U.S. (Next day or second day dely).  Note that our pickup is at noon; so order will be delayed a day if not received here early morning.  Rates vary with distance, and in general, are two to three times as much as Priority Mail.

Canada, Overseas.

Complex rates.  We must measure and weigh and consult charts to quote.  Please email your request for a quote if you need to know the shipping cost ahead of time; do not phone.  We can usually ship by Priority Mail International.

Insurance:

In U.S., insurance is 1% of total of merchandise and shipping ($1 min)

Other countries vary.
(Note that the post office is unable to insure mail shipments to some countries.)
